Welcome.
Journalism came to me in the sixth grade in the form of a crisp flip-top notebook and the task of writing an article for a school newspaper. Though that notebook and article are long forgotten, journalism has remained an integral part of my life.
The lesson of telling a complete and engaging story has been taught to me in the inked pages of newspapers, on megapixeled news websites and in my own work for The Marquette Tribune, the student-run newspaper at Marquette University in Milwaukee. My education continues in my Digital Journalism II course, for which this blog was created. Like the practice of journalism itself, my own writing is constantly developing. I plan to use this blog as a canvas to display my evolving skills in telling a compelling and informative story through my photography and words. |
